Bud Light NFL can question

#1

Post by Dixie Dave »

Does anyone know if Bud Light is planning to release sets of NFL team cans this year? Need to know before I head to Omaha.

I want to get these silly things right just once. Milwaukee, I don't have nearly enough Saints cans to meet demand. Cleveland, I have plenty of cans, but nobody wants them because you can buy sets of cans and everyone wants bottles which I didn't have. This year, I have plenty of bottles but no cans.

My question is are they releasing sets of the cans as they have done the last two years. Need to know if I need to bring Saints cans to Omaha.

Dave,

I'm pretty sure last year that A-B released the cans in local areas first, then later on started selling them as sets. At least it seemed that way in my area--it was quite awhile before I saw the whole set packaged that way. So it might not be so easy to tell!

That is what I am worried about. I don't want to get to Omaha and have a hundred people asking me for Saints cans. Last year I got torched on those cans. I had 3 cases of Saints cans and didn't trade or sell one. Lucky for me, a buddy who drinks Bud Light was throwing a party and I sold the cans to him. This year I have cabottles but no cans. Seems like I can't win.

I will have 39 Saints and 39 LSU cabottles for sale or trade in Omaha. May buy another 20 of each. Have not decided yet.

Will be happy to trade them after getting back if you didn't go.

The past couple of years, they have sold them all in the same pack. Are they doing that again this year?

I don't think they will sell NFL team logo this year ?? Maybe later this fall. However, I do know they will have a cabottle of the Philadelphia Eagle as you know, they won the Super Bowl.. Other Interesting Note : .... It about Cleveland Brown...............

I wish I could find out before I leave for Omaha. I will not have Saints cans at Canvention after getting torched by them last year. I expect that they will because they did sets last two years

How do they differ from cans released in the past few years?
