Bud Light is at it again- LSU cabottles? And an exciting update!

I was at the grocery on Saturday and saw an ad by the beer case with a picture of a blue LSU cabottle. I have none of these presently, but I will be hitting a lot of stores to try to flush out a few of them to bring to Omaha. Here is a picture of the ad:

I'm really interested to know if there are any other college cabottles coming out or if this is strictly an LSU thing. Louisiana allows colleges to have "official beers" with the school name and often their mascot on the can or bottle. And trust me, LSU will put their name on anything they can if they're getting money out of it.

Saints cans are out. Not bothering with them this year since the big box with the whole set will doubtless appear at some point. This year's can is a lot less interesting than the last two years have been. The Saints can is a regular blue can with a Saints logo on it, "Official Beer Sponsor" bottom face, and a gold stripe with "Bud Light" in it.

UPDATE: Saints cabottles are on the market. I purchased some yesterday. They are blue like the cans with the team logo. Should have plenty to meet demand in Omaha. Saving a couple for certain friends, will be happy to trade these with those of y'all who are not going to Canvention after the show.

Those of y'all in NFL cities, keep your eyes open- your team should be out or coming out soon. Good luck!

Dave,

If at all possible, I could use 2 or 3 of those.
