A morning in the woods

#1

Post by Kotto »

Had a nice sunny Saturday morning recently that was supposed to be filled with chores, but I instead chose to hike around the steep wooded hills behind what had been a tiny resort town on a river a few miles near my house. My brother Rick and I had been there a couple of times before, probably in the early 1990s, and found some pretty nice Manhattan cans, along with a few other brands.

As expected, I didn't find much, but I'll go back with a metal detector to recheck the area where I picked up the J-spout.

If anyone wants the Budweiser New All-Aluminum cans to try your hand at de-denting, I'll gladly ship them to you if you'll cover the postage cost.

Re: A morning in the woods - FINALLY cleaned it!

Finally found time to clean a few cans, and I was surprised that there was a bit of color under there! If anyone wants it let me know, I can bring it to Swap-a-rama or Canvention and I'll gladly give it to you. I don't dare ship it as the back is GONE and a it's a bit fragile.

Only five miles from my house. I need to go back there with a metal detector.
