more from northern Minnesota clean crowns & pop

#1

Post by tomcd62 »

Found a new road to drive down and a new dump to dig up here in Northern Minn. Lots of typical cans, Bud, Miller, PBR, Hamm's, with lots of paint and a few different cans that I never dug before including Stag , Metz , a Muelheboch, in bad shape, and a Nectar. Here's a pic after some pre acid cleaning, thanks Tom

Nice haul! Some of those pre cleaned cans are pretty clean. Curious what the mystery cans are....

Thanks for the replies. I went back for another look and found these cones and more. To keep digging there I will have to move some rotten downed trees. It may be worth it. I have found the Ballantine cans up here before. I have a beer and Ale IRTP and a non IRTP ale , those cans are rough. The mystery Crowns are most likely Gluek's cans, they usually are, normally I would not take as many, but after I found those Tru Blu cans underneath, my curiosity gets the best of me. cans are in the acid now so some pics coming soon. Ballentine is more common out this way than most people think. Still a weird one to find though...

It’s always with looking under down trees

Thanks for the replies. Here's the long awaited Clean crowns. Gluek's , I never found the black stripe version before just blue and brown. Some of these may need a stronger acid soak as they went in the bucket late after cleaning many cans before them. And some Donald Ducks. finding a clean DD Cola has Evaded me then I find 6 in one place. Thanks Tom

I stand corrected on the black stripe cans. What appears to be black stripes are faded brown stripes . tom
