Dwight you are a machine and have the best “can-dar” I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see them cleaned.
Thanks. Dave

These are the best from about 50 cans. The bottle is from Munch Brewery, never seen that bottle before, most of bottles in dump were Rupperts. I saw the Munch Brewery operated in Brooklyn primarily in 1920’s .

@digger Dwight....I always like to pull up some good brewery history so thought to provide some additional details on the Munch brewery. From an articles perspective from newspapers.com Munch Brewery first appeared in 30 July 1875 and last appeared on 10 April 1938.

Here are a few associated articles:

Those are neat Keith. Always enjoy looking at the old ads.I think I read where the Munch Brewery then became the Edelbrau Brewery.

Great advertisements and interesting to hear about the location of the Eldebrau brewery. When my dad was young, talking 10 years old, he had to help with the dinner at their families Astoria, Queens apartment. At times he was sent to the local bar or VFW hall with a silver growler that held about 4 bottles of beer in total. The bartender would fill it up and my dad would walk home with it. No thought of trying it, different times. My grandfathers brand was Rheingold.
