Fay Lake revisited
Met dumping machine TwoGallonTom at Fay Lake last weekend for some northern WI dumping action. I found him in the resort dump Friday nite, it was relatively dry compared to last time- there were fresh cans coming out of the ground! Our only plan for Sat. was to drive around anything that was blue on the map. We found dumps in multiple spots Saturday morning but most of the mysteries I soaked were soda cans. Things slowed down in the afternoon, I found a full Leinie’s from the early 90’s(?) that will be a perfect ironguts candidate. We did find a nice pile between two lakes at the end of a road, right before dark. The perfect spot to dump- someone was still dumping their brush over the cans but TGT sniffed it out and began pulling out rust. There were alot of cans but daylight was running low- we grabbed some mystery Blatzers. The birdshot riddled Kings crowntainer was the last can TGT found before dark, we’ll have to check it out next time. Cans are soaking, I found a gargoyle and Tom found a unicorn. Ziphippie

Re: Fay Lake revisited
Good to see you guys turned some cans. I really wanted to hunt for rust in October with team L P. Currently in the middle of a house closing, an the monumental task of moving almost 30 yrs of accumulated items of interest in the house I reside in now. Life is good, been better to go digging at Fay Lake Resort, needed to get away from me for a couple days, LOL. Spring time is on the horizon, will make more of effort to go digging with you guys. Thank You for posting & pics, Patrick .

Re: Fay Lake revisited
thanks for the digging fun Bjourn. All my mystery cans except one were Blatz. The one exception was a Schlitz. All are on there way to becoming a new Chrysler or something like that. here's pic of some paint. A few upgrades for me and a couple new cans,Prior and Fallstaff, for the shelf.
