Older Cones and Flats dug.
This weekend the wife and I hit a different area and turned up more Cone tops than I think I’ve ever dug in one day. Truly exciting digging them.

Great stuff. My wife draws the line at going to shows. I would never get her to dig in the dirt for cans..... But I still love her.

You are into pre-war! Hit that spot again. That's an Alt Heidelberg OI or two, tough can.

All I heard was pre war. I love it. Going back this weekend to dig some rare bottles. Cans will be second choice.mountainrust wrote:You are into pre-war! Hit that spot again. That's an Alt Heidelberg OI or two, tough can.

Re: Older Cones and Flats dug.
Thanks brother. My wife was loving it digging in that nasty wet dirt. Only one time I heard anything negative come out of her mouth was when she said man my hands are cold.rbtemplar wrote:Great stuff. My wife draws the line at going to shows. I’ve never dug this can before so I’m really excited. What’s the date range on this one?

With its side panels. Didn’t know it was an IRTP until it was cleaned.

Re: Older Cones and Flats dug.
I’m wondering if this is a Heidelberg? Never found like this either. The face is gone so this is the best side of the can. I do have one soaking that has a better face but it’s dented. Wondering if it’s the same can or not.? Time will tell.

Re: Older Cones and Flats dug.
That Schlitz Sunshine was pretty darn good right out of the ground before soaking. Nice stuff, and definitely worth hitting the area again for mystery cans!

Daniel, As far as I know every Blatz cone top ever made only came in IRTP. I don't think Blatz ever made a non IRTP Cone. Only exception would be a withdrawnfree version. LEON.

More than that, I believe that all Blatz cones (that aren't OD) are Prewar.Leon wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 7:18 pmDanielinAk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 9:23 pm
