The Dobler Bock suffers a bit from being goatless, but I know one did sell at $9,500 or $10,000 a few years back. The USBC-OI lists the non-IRTP Krueger Bock as R8/R8. I've seen enough offgrade indoor cans to support the second 8, but the quality examples apparently hide themselves well. If there are enough quality examples to justify the R8 rating, I don't think they're worth Michel Bock money. The last ongrade Krueger's Bock I saw available was $15,000, and that's the more desirable long opener can.

Yes, the nice Fitzgerald's Bocks I've seen were a little off. The can also isn't as attractive as some of the others being discussed, so the appeal is likely less widespread.

Not that it has any bearing on the non-IRTP Krueger Bock, but the Krueger's Bock long opener can has sold higher than $15,000 a couple times in recent years.

Interestingly, the McCoy Michel Beer Crowntainer is listed as sold at $1,900. There must be more of them around than we thought, though none of the dealer sites show others sold.

I'm in Michigan and I only collect cans, so I'm not a good one to answer on a NY bottle. However, I did find this picture of a Dobler Bock label. I also found a dealer site stating they knew of four indoor cans and one dumper, which is one more of each than I knew of.

Marc ur a wealth of beer can knowledge. There were 2 Eblings Ales that turned up in same dump. That explains why they still had some paint left on them being from early 50l

Thanks, Dwight, but I wish I had your nose for finding cans out in the wild! You've had some of the most memorable finds of the past 20 years. That Fitzgerald's Bock is amazing!
