Had a late start on this rainy day. Had a few areas to check out and to just get out for the day. The first spot was a campsite that I’ve been watching since September. Every time I’d go there it was packed and today it was empty. I wasn’t finding anything until I searched between the road and the first camp site. I found 2 super clean metallic Frankenmuth cans, but the seams were gone. Right after that was a strong signal. First can was a silver irtp Drewrys and tons of rims were visible. Lots of cans in this pit, mostly pfeiffer and Drewrys with a few cones mixed in. 3rd pit started out with the 30’s stubbies, but I checked the bottles over for brand names and realized that they were dated 1942, so no cans were going to be there. 4th “pit” was more like surface cans that had dirt tossed over them. Schlitz cones, goebel and Drewrys O/I’s. Condition is not the best, but the schlitz has good color.
I tried to get to more areas but there’s still 100’s of down trees everywhere and I couldn’t even get to it them.
Last stop was a huge concrete floor. No idea what this was, it wasn’t on my map. Found a late 60’s sprite tab here.
By the way, I was behind a car with a license plate that said diger 1. My first thought was a rusty buncher???
