Very cool.

I see a lot of different labels in there.

You're going to have to start taking boxes with you on these trips.

You’re right. I have one that’s full with me now. I’ve always had my trusty one (8 slots) and it’s always been enough but yet again I’ve been focusing on pit dumping since 2015.

Here’s some pictures. 5 cabins dumped here. Spent 2 hours on the cabin area as there were 100’s of cans there as well.

More from the medium sized pile on the cabin side. Not much was found here really but I was having a blast regardless (before I checked across the street)

THis foundation has the largest pile of cans behind it. This structure was not on the map. Either gone or military owned. Lots of Drewrys scene cans here as well as some 30’s stuff mixed. Also lots of miller, strohs, Budweiser, vernors flats and a few clean black labels.

Then I walked across the road. When I first seen this place on the map, this is where I’d imagine a dump. Wow was I right! I noticed an old two track and realized what was about to happen and noticed a bucket. Walked 20 more feet and rust galore! 2 feet deep, 30 ft wide virgin dump with 1,000’s of flats and cones everywhere. This was truly and exhilarating moment for me. I deserve this. I dug one side and started finding goebel and pfeiffer flats. That’s when I made the decision to walk the dump and look for good stuf on top and that’s when I found the bock. I made the decision to either dig until dark or dig until I filled the truck. 7 hours later, truck was filled and only 1/2 way through the dump yet.

Not everyday I bring home 200+ cans. Was hoping for a Frankenmuth bock. Some of these have out of state tax stamps.

Looks great Ted. Lots of color and that good preserving Michigan soil. Looks like it wasn’t very strohs heavy, which is always good. Looking forward to the cleaned pics. That black label bock is awesome find.

It was very strohs heavy actually. And this dump is under a bunch of really old pine trees and cans are under large oil cans that helped as well.

Was this upper or lower peninsula?? Menominee and silver cream cones would be sort of unusual for the lower, but definitely possible. I found Menominees in a Alanson before.
