The glued seam is wide open, looks like a starved clam. It was the only one we found in that pile. There were some other interesting cans in the mix, a strong Hamms and a couple tough Bosch premium zips- Ziphippie Bjorn

Mr. Ziphippie ,
That was a lot of cans, sure was a blast digging through those.
It was the right time frame for single faced Strohs, to bad we didn't find any.
Hopefully I'll gets some time this weekend to clean the rest of my cans, you inspired me to clean a batch of tabs last night.
Some cool Tabs!..... most of these came from the Bud Dump.
here's a few pics
- The Bud Dump
- Boxed up
- Fresh out of the box
- Cleaned up
- Shelfers, the one on the left is an early Zip
- Upgrades
- Evolution

I think I need a Bosch Premium zip if anybody has a extra. I always wondered if they ever made a Stroh's 16 oz zip? LEON.

Think I might need the fan tab Bosch Premium, Not sure though as they are boxed up now. but here's a old pic of my Premium that has the small finger pull tab probably from around 1967. I got a cool story about that can. LEON.

another cool thing from the tab dump,..... of the seven early Budweiser Zip tops I brought home, there are three minor top variations,
The first Gen. zip; flat surface, no writing. the next one; flat surface, with "lift Tab-Pull >, the next one; flat surface, Lift Tab- Pull Open.
I didn't expect that.
The "Tab-Top" Zip cans I found are the formed top with smile beads. Do the Tab-Top cans come with the early Zips??
- Same cans with top variation

Woah, now that is cool! We found those early Bud zips and got fired up- after a couple hours they were just Budweiser’s. conesplus found two cones on TOP of that tab pile, we should go back there. Ziphippie

Ziphippie,
I dug a lot of soda cans out of that dump, but only one tropic surf.
That was the can you were hoping to find there, it was a great moment when you dug those out.
looks like you got the nicest example.
Here's mine.
