One of my hunter friends told me about a dump he found out on land leased by his hunt club.
He said I could dig but not after Wild Turkey season began.
I went out with friend and new Rusty Buncher JacobS to see what we could turn up.
Condition was good for NC and found an odd ball Canadian Ace beer with Ohio tax lid that I have never found before in NC and wasnt on the RB cans dumped by state composite list.
Jacob found alot of really nice painted soda bottles that were really well preserved.
Found alot of soda cans including some MDI juice top sodas from Hickory NC that I have been told are very tough in any condition.
Had good time and brought lots of cans home and will be adding quite a few to the dumped it myself shelf.
Thanks for going with Jacob.
Nice variety for a NC dump

I agree on those MDI cans--tough! Dave Tanner wasn't even able to find a Root Beer to picture in the second edition of his book. The Howdy looks like a second generation of that brand and another tough can. Real nice haul!!

Found two Root Beer MDI cans. one soda can site said only one was known.
It was a fun dump. dont often find many soda cans.

cool finds , I am jealous of any digging in general. Even though winter is finally on its way out here in north Minn. still a couple of weeks until any real ground thaw. thanks tom
