Mystery Can
Another Alaskan Digger in my group dug this Can today. I’m hoping someone can identify it for him. Much Appreciated

Re: Mystery Can
OK, this time I did pull out my book ... if the Hamms logo is centered closer to the top of the can (if your photo shows the can rightside up), it must be an OI, pre-WW II, probably late 30's to maybe very early 40's. If the logo is centered closer to the bottom (if your photo shows the can upside down), it would be a Hamms Preferred Stock, fairly common can. If it's an OI, hope you can find some more!

Re: Mystery Can
Thanks brother. I’ll pass this info onto the guy who found it. I sure hope he gets into some cans. That shovel he is using in the one photo is 31 inches long. So you see how deep he found the Can.Beercanpete wrote:OK, this time I did pull out my book ... if the Hamms logo is centered closer to the top of the can (if your photo shows the can rightside up), it must be an OI, pre-WW II, probably late 30's to maybe very early 40's.
