Looks like Michigan made its way out there! Detroit represented by Mr Johnny himself.

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?

Re: The Maine Attraction
Great pics and finds so far. I can only imagine what you all have dug given the glimpses of Old Ranger’s, Apollo’s and Pfeiffer’s. The later two you wouldn’t expect in NE Maine. The weather looks fantastic and warm the next 5 days so you’ve got perfect weather for your can-ventures. Good luck- can’t wait for the stories and pics.
Thanks. Dave

Re: The Maine Attraction
A&P stores used that design for stamping prices on groceries in their stores (at least in the 60's when there used to be A&P grocery stores).

Re: The Maine Attraction
Great stuff! Are those Old Rangers zips? And are they Jersey or New York? What is the mandatory on the Tudor?
The best can from my teenage years was an Old Ranger flat from Hornell, NY we found behind a barn in Clinton.

Re: The Maine Attraction
We were fortunate enough to get into a community dump for a cabin cluster. Cans turned up from Florida all the way up to New England and even some with Ohio tax stamps. pretty sad that Glenn had to go to Maine to dig a Baltimore can he needed. Hell there were even a pile of Old German beer cans from Cumberland! we pretty much ran out of daylight on that dump. And a few days earlier we got into some soda cans that really excited Dave Tanner!
Had a great time with three RB guys that i have dumped with in the past. Looking forward to next fall to hit it again. i think we have figured out a key to dumping in Maine.

I have had the great privilege of dumping with 68 current and former Rusty Bunch members, to date. Got to hit the woods of Virginia with Charlie Smigo recently.
