Just My Luck
This past Saturday I hit an area that my old maps showed had a cabin in 1932 along a river that was still there today. Unfortunately, as I approached the cabin, I noticed there was a sign on the front of the cabin that had the name of the cabin on it. As it turns out, the name of the cabin (Camp Temperance) proved to be an omen as I didn't find a dump or anything around the cabin. In fact, it was clean as a whistle all around the cabin with not a lick of any trash. The original cabin owners must have not been alcohol drinkers and supporters of the temperance movement. It just goes to show that sometimes what looks promising "on paper" doesn't pan out. Just my luck!
