Found a new spot but everything was dozed over. Did get a Prince Rupert that I may work on for the shelf since I don't have one.ImageImageImage

Thanks. Good huh? I need to check it out in the book and see how old it is. I kept the buds also so I could narrow a date down. Talked to an old timer who said there are more dumps in the area.

One would think that "technically" most cans sold in Alaska would have to be "Withdrawn Free" since Alaska didn't become a state until January 3, 1959....but just like my Pa history I still have much to learn......

No kidding about that. Strange to think that everything find before 1959 I can technically call it Territorial. So those are Territory of Alaska can's Image haha

Hopefully somebody can best explain why Alaska would have been required to include the IRPT although it wasn't a state. Here is a label from a Brewery in Alaska and had an ITRP label.....the brewery was only open from 1934-1942:
Incorporated as the Pioneer Brewing Company in 1934
Issued U-Permit number ALS-U-1201 allowing operation of a brewery in 1934
Received by creditors in 1937
Operated as Pioneer Brewing Co., Creditors Assn. 1937-1942
Closed in 1942

I love digging those Midnight Sun bottles. Although this label is a reproduction. One day I'll dig one with a great label.

Under the 11 ounces there is more to the label. I'm almost and will check.

Most of the label is jacked up and the photos just don't do it Justice, but I believe they do say IRTP
