Oregon vacation digging

#1

Post by StL ABC »

The wife and I spent a week in Oregon on vacation. We visited brewpubs, shops and restaurants. We did some hiking and general exploring. Of course we got out for a half day of can digging. This spot was one that we never had time to hit while on previous digging trips with Bob L and Reagan. I found this old fire ring right away.

It wasn't long until we were into cans.

I love this Tacoma 11oz variation.

Since they are 11 oz. they are from Atlantic, Spokane. We don't dump those too often but there was a large indoor find about ten years ago.

From the woods picture I'd guess those were found in Central Oregon, maybe south or southwest of Bend.

Brown Derby 11oz could also be Silver Springs Tacoma (maker of the infamous KOL 11oz).

I love that old fire ring!
