Old Photos of people drinking beer

#1

Post by rustyrelic »

Because I like to have someting other than beercans to look for at antique malls,
I started to collect any old photo of people drinking beer.
Here are a few cool examples:

I hear this clown is now in a leadership position in the BCCA!

Image

I think Rainier Club was marketed to the upscale market.

Anybody have more to share?

Interesting......I guess I never thought about it but it makes sense.....beer bottles were once sealed with corks. At least that's what it looks like in the Schlitz picture. Ahhh....once again....my beer *CAN* myopia leads me astray.

AAAAHHHGGGG!

She was always one of my favorites!
The answer is....this picture does not get back to regular size.
The information is lost. You need to find the original. Since
the file name was "Scan0005-1.jpg".....it is a good chance that
it was scanned from a print....so we just need to find that print
and re-scan it.....or find the original scan.

nah brianS, not bashing catholics. I am a staunch Catholic, you see me at church both times( easter and X-mas). Its the history of what Priests have done to little boys...and in that pic it is just gross the look one could sense the way those 2 guys were looking at the kids...I say get rid of that pic.

I dont worry too much about spelling Leon, cant take that personally.

Ah, my dentist has National Geographic in the waiting room alongside Highlights for kids. I say let the puppies run free! But...is that
alcohol they're serving to minor natives? Omigod No!

PS these pics are awesome. I'm ashamed to not have found any myself. Can Dr.'s looks like art, it's just beautiful.

Rand, is that your girlfriend in college? Or did you steal that off myspace somewhere....

Absolutely a pure, straightforward case of theft. I am hoping to whip up a
juicy "copyright infringement" debate. Any takers?

Actually....when this thread started up I went to Google and typed in something
like "black and white" drinking beer......and photos drinking beer.....and somewhere
along the line the Hamms lady's daughter showed up! Figured it was just
too precious not to share.
