the stubby ale is brewed by commonwealth brewing co. for union malt products new bedford mass. commonwealth did a lot of contract brewing. i beleive that stubby ale was brewed for smith brothers. the new england steinnies come up for grabs every now and then, most times you see them in long necks or war time throw aways...on the same picture as the stubby ale every thing from the bay state to the dartmouth are all brewed by commonwealth.....ron

Dave Launt and I have submitted an article for the BCCA Magazine entitled Cans & Breweriania do go together. In it Dave and I show a lot of nice signs.
Don't know IF OR WHEN Marcia will run it, if not, Dave and I will get it back and run it in our chapter newsletters. We'd put it in the Rustlings, but I'm not sure if it would fit the format. If our editor thinks it would and Marcia doesn't want to run it we'd be proud to put in in the Rustlings! Harry
