Re: February Rustlings FREE to all forum users! 25th Anniversary

I just finished reading this entire masterpiece of dumping regalia. Chris has done an absolutely outstanding job of picking the best articles ever written for the ultimate beer collecting magazine. This is the best compilation I have ever read. If you don't download it and don't read it you are missing out on a truly once in a lifetime experience.

For those of you new to the Rusty Bunch, this is a historical reading journey inspired by some of the best writers to ever tell a tale, about some of the best dumps ever found. You may not recognize some of the names, but believe me these writers had, and still have immense effect on the hobby today. Some of the cans from these stories may be on your shelves right now.

...and to top it off with one of the best pontifical diatribes about the forces leading us all to go dumping ......priceless!

GREAT JOB CHRIS!

What Candog said.

My only regret is that I never did anything exciting enough in the world of dumping to even get a tiny snippet of an article in that masterpiece. One day.

I am both awed and humbled by this 25th anniversary issue. Awed at the depth of the Chapter's history, the variety of writers who built the foundation upon which the RUSTLINGS now rests (but doesn't sleep, oh no!), and humbled that one of my pontifications (thanks for the compliment, Candog) was included in the event.
I will still try to explain it all to spouses if needed, but I fear my skills are diminished by time and my abstinence from selected BS inducing substances that enhanced my skills in those earlier, heady days.
