Seeing the recent Frankenmuth International find prompted me to post my odd ball I dumped. I dumped the Ohio Version on left in Port Austin in thumb of Michigan while I was hiking a wooded trail with High school Girlfriend at the time way back around 1983. Making this can Sentimental. I dumped the paintover can on right about 2 years back near a secluded lake in the woods near HELL Michigan or Vinces Pinckney Pines. Thought I took a few home but dont know where they are. Know I left a few behind. Anyways, As you can see the bottom portion of the can on right has had the Brewing info painted over with a new white square. I assume painting over Ohio Brewing info to change it to Covington Kentucky brewing info. Both are Zip Tops but Ohio can on left about 1962 while Kentucky can on Right more about 1964. Anybody else have a repaint like this? LEON
P.S. Clicking on Pic will make it Huge

Re: Strange Paint over?
Worth millions!!!! Kind of weird though, isn't it.
I'd think variations are nowhere near as rare as people think they are in general. Most collectors don't look at the fine print of their can, and may not even know there ARE variations. If everyone did, I doubt many variations would be "unique" anymore. Some may be scarcer than others but not so much unique.
