what's your favorite?

Post by bodean »

It’s an easy choice for me. My favorite is one from my grandpa’s collection. It was at the bottom of the stairs to the basement and I saw it every time I went down there. I really like the graphics on this can and it takes me back. It’s my favorite can and I won't part with it.

Anyway… what’s your favorite can? It doesn’t have to be your most valuable but if it is, that’s cool too. I think most of the favorites of the RB are gonna be the memories that go with them – who you were with when acquired, were they passed down from someone important in your life , was it a great night out with your friends and you saved a reminder, etc…. I’d really like to see the cans and more so, hear the stories of why it’s your favorite.

This humble Sheridan flat has great memories for me. A fishing trip in 1967 with my family at Dillon reservoir. Dad went into the town liquor store with my brother and me to get some beer. He was a Coors drinker, but we managed to convince him to get the Sheridan, since we didn't have one for our fledgling collections. Dad would let us drink the beer from the cans for our collections, and I thought the Sheridan was delicious. At 9 years old, ANY beer was delicious. My brother Mark still has his can, too.

As Scott has mentioned, we enjoyed our first Walter's product in 1967. And still to this day enjoy drinking Walter's beer.
Looking for my birthday Lucky can too. Aug 18 55

Our Beer from Huber Brewing Company. I've never seen a more attractive can since this came out decades ago.
