Previously Unknown 1873 Brewery & Denver Brewery Book

So I think I discovered a letter from a previously unknown brewery in Evanston, WY in 1873, making in the 3rd or 4th oldest in the State.
If you have Am Brew II every entry for Parkhurst is just 1 guy who moved around alot. Lyman Parkhurst (1830-1928) appeared in Memphis in 1866, was in Denver in 1870-1872, and then the letter I have is from the next year. He whereabouts seem unknown from 1873-1879 when he turned up in Deadwood, SD. Then eventually he went back to Denver. Will scan the letter in the next day or so and update but pretty jazzed to find I have an item from an unknown brewery.

While searching for him I found this 2019 History MA thesis at CSU about the Breweries of Denver. So, for your reading pleasure.... Andy

Here is a copy of the letter I have from Lyman Parkhurst, brewing in Evanston, WY in 1873. Pretty cool to see he made Ale as well.

Thanks man, yes, its the one and only original. Not sure if there are even newspaper ads from him then- could be the only thing at all from that brewery to survive come to think of it. At this late date that it was not in AM Brew II or online means not much is out there.

I really like all the paper stuff. I have three Ale making licenses in Mass from 1705-1708 which are my oldest American breweriana things. Been putting up a bunch of things on ebay that I've decided don't fit with my states or breweries of interest so I keep finding old stuff I haven't thought about for a while...
