These pop-up auctions ads are pretty annoying.... I hope they (the dealers) are giving you extra cans for this. I thought we did away with pop up ads on this website years ago?

Yeah I agree; however, I do like the reminder just not so often. Wonder if it could just pop for each member once per day instead of every time you log in. Sometimes I check the site multiple times a day and that does become annoying
Interested in all flat and Cone Soda and Water cans.

One thing to do that minimizes the popups I think ....is to use the normal navigation on the site. Seems like if I use the "back button" on the browser, the pop up always comes back, like it's my first time navigating to that page and it wants to do its pop up dance. If I use the normal forum navigation, I only see it the first time and then not again until "tomorrow" or whenever. Anyway, I think that's the way it's working....much less annoying that way.

Side thought.....some websites let you pay extra to have no advertising. I suspect that would be an option, but doubt the price tag would be worth it, or that many folks would take advantage of it.

Lest we not forget that the sponsors donate $1,000 each to the Chapter in beer cans that the Chapter raffles off. Those raffles pour money into the Chapter coffers so that the Chapter can provide other things to the members. We need to make sure we get out and support the sponsors the best way possible. They are one of the reasons the Chapter remains in good financial standings.

They were supporting us without the pop up ads.... I hope you're getting an additional $1000 in cans because of these pop ups.... I do know that BeerCanPlus.com is donating a portion of their proceeds (5%?) of their auctions to the Rusty Bunch.... :smt023 :smt023

I created them because some members stated they forgot or didn't know the auctions were going on, so how about this? - I set them up for the day pre-bidding starts and the next day, then off until the day before the auction and day of the auctions?

Great idea Danny. We need to support our sponsors and this “extra” pop-up does that. Click the little x to get rid of the pop-up if it’s bothering you.
Thanks. Dave

Thanks! I appreciate that!

On my cell phone, they come up and take over the entire screen and I have to scroll over to look for the "little x."
