Please don't tell me $42k.

Depends on the can, I think the Common ones like all those rolled Ballantines should only be a $100 can in my opinion.

The Ballantine, Schaefer, Lucky, Duquesne HP Cone, Fort Pitt Crowntainer are 5 of the more common ones in the $100-$300 range in my opinion. Others opinions may vary. LEON.

I got the Duquesne cone listed above. Didn't hear of any large Schmidts find. Seems like a lot of Gold Medals cones & Berghoff cones were found. And alot of non OD Red Fox cones in Withdrawn Free. LEON.

Correct - that is a huge find that is being kept quiet,,,, those cans have been flooding the market for years now....and they are still being gobbled up. I believe they were found in Japan.

To maximize the $$$. Why should honesty be above profit?

I knew the answer to the question, just wanted to see if anybody would answer honestly. BUT, Does that mean nobody else, only the Seller knows how many? I thought you'd get a bad reputation doing that, So seller don't care about bad reputation? More then 1 seller Selling these things aint there? LEON.

Reminds me of the guy that kept finding TRU BLU O/I's in the wall. He'd say last one. After each one sold Sunday He'd then list another one saying HEY, Guess what, I just found another one today. That went on for weeks.

I remember that guy. Said he found them between buildings that were only a few inches apart.

Apparently, there was an Olive Drab Blitz-Weinhard WF for sale locally for $2000 that was NOT snatched up by the person who saw it two weeks ago at a non-beer related show. That would have been a one of a kind, previously unknown can to have on my shelves. I know I would have paid the money for it if I had seen it and to tell the truth, I hope I can still track it down.
Beauty and price is in the eye of the beholder on OD cans....some think they are ugly and some, like me, think certain ones are priceless.

I've never heard of WF Blitz OD can and doubt anybody else has either. New things turn up occasionally so I won't outright deny that it exists. Without documentation however I'm definitely in the non-believer camp until proven wrong. It would be cool if there is one and I wish you success in tracking it down or at a minimum obtaining definitive proof. I'm inclined to think somebody was pulling your leg or maybe saw a horribly discolored can and naively thought it was an OD. Another scenario is that it was a Blatz and somebody mistook it for being a Blitz.

The gentleman at the Cascade show was a longtime knowledgeable collector (just not cans) who saw it, was too broke to buy it, and I tended to believe he would know the difference between an OD can blatz and a blitz. Just sayin.....
