This can keeps floating by on ads in FB feed and Google for me. Ebay thinks I should "Hurry up and make an offer before it gets away!"
Ebay should take a look at my purchase history and quit wasting its advertising money.

I listed some things as Buy It Now recently, and was surprised to find that I didn't get to select a duration. They're all automatically "Good 'Til Canceled".

GTC gets automatically renewed every 30 days with the listing fee charged to your account, unless you manually cancel the listing before 30 days or sell the item.
