Having now participated in 2 of these online auctions, I'm no longer going to waste my time on the pre-bidding process. Only 1 out of my 30 pre-bids held up last time. IMO, better to wait until the live auction actually begins.

I definitely see your point but I still see value in bidding early. There have been times in the past when I intended to bid on an ebay auction at the last minute but something in my life distracted me and I never made it back to the ebay auction. Upon looking at the auction, I discovered my planned high bid was above the final bid for the auction.

I see they're donating 5% of the auction sale proceeds to The Rusty Bunch. They really are Good Guys!

Were you successful today? If so, what did you get?

I got a Pabst flat, placed my max bid the first day and it held up, barely. Was too caught up in football yesterday to follow along with the auction. Just looked through the results, not a lot of high sellers, the Milwaukee Club low pro going for $950 is a little surprising. A couple of rolled cans did really well.

I ended up winning 11 cans. Was outbid on a few more, but overall I thought the prices ended up really reasonable and all 11 that I won are usually priced higher elsewhere. I'm very happy!

SO is $600 plus the vig a record for a Schmidt scene can? I have the Indian-Fishermen version with this flat gold paint. need to go look but I think it has a Schmidt end and looks like a regular used can rather than a test. Anyone know more about these with flat gold paint?
Interested in breweriana with Native American images or language of all kinds.
