Great find! Glad she did some research instead of throwing them in the trash!

Is there any money in old, post prohibition, whiskey bottles?

I bought a similar, but different, find of cans years ago. I took all the cans but left the whiskey bottles behind. Probably a big miss on my part.

As far as I know the 1940's or 50's or even 30's whiskey bottles have very little value. A lot of Bottle collects don't like bottles after 1900 & some consider them mostly worthless after 1900. But many Valuable bottles are from the early 1900's. LEON.

Exactly what I was thinking! Yet another example to show that there are still a lot of cans out there patiently waiting to be found.

That is kind of what I was thinking too. The cans obviously have value and the soda bottles do too, though not as much. The liquor bottles, though interesting, really do not because they never have gotten particularly collectible by a sizable group of people.

I think even a $1,000 is stretching it quite far.

I was thinking the same thing even though I said it. whats $30 a Falstaff times 30, like $900? once you start flooding the market with spotty grade 2 Falstaffs the price will drop to $15? LEON.

I sold these whiskey bottles on ebay for $9.94 and $20.94 plus $24.70 shipping earlier this month. Pretty labels. There must be a few enthusiasts out there.
