Bryan, Curious what the price was on the Pfeiffer Skier can? Didn't see it when I was there. LEON.

Thanks to Clayton and company for the great job they always do. I was initially skeptical on the change of venue, but it's been awfully hot a few times since the move, and it sure is nice to have air conditioning available. Stretching the show to two days was a great idea. Frankenmuth always brought in a lot of out-of-towners, many of them did bullet trips to attend, and doing that is more difficult and less appealing as we age.

That can belongs to Beer Cans Plus. It seems like they were asking $400 but I could be mistaken.

Good question. I know it was announced but I do not recall where and when. It may have been on this site but maybe it was in the BCCA magazine. Unfortunately, I cannot remember. Given that I am struggling to remember the answer to your question, that tells me we should have announced it more times than we did.

@Leon That explains a lot. Thanks.

I unsubscribed from their emails because they kept changing the rules for that 50th Anniversary contest they're running. At first, you had to wait a week for the answer. Then they posted the issue where you could find the answer during the same week as the question. Then they posted segments of multiple issues in which to search for the answers. It's like nobody put any thought into it and made changes on the fly to attract more participants.

Additionally, they kept sending show announcements for events on the other side of the continent. Really? I'm fortunate to make three local shows! I've had my latest magazine for over a week now and I know others had the latest issue a week or two before that. Yet, go to the website, they still haven't posted the latest issue. Keep the good work, people.

My personal opinion is that this is the worst run BCCA regime since I rejoined after retirement. My opinion. Means nothing to anybody. Maybe it'll improve after CANvention.

Wow, what a great show. The show was flowing, everyone was buying, selling, trading. Next thing you know, you're driving home. Why does it all go so fast?!?!

I'll post a few more comments (for those who care to read them) in my original questions thread regarding this show. First time at Frankenmuth.

My take...

That Ale cone and Bock flat... They seem like old cans... But did they come from the future? Can that goat even breath in there? Andy

Really liking the Burger Ale, though the Narry Flip Top can would be one I would have also definitely gone for as well. I like all that shine!

I look forward to seeing your feedback. It is our goal to continuously improve this show every year. One way to do this is to listen to feedback like yours and then act upon it when we are capable of doing so. I was really hoping you would sell the incredible Eastside Bock you had at the show. Maybe somebody who saw the picture here will contact you and work out a deal.

By the way, speaking of continuous improvement, we also have plans in the works for the Eastern Great Lakes Brewery Collectibles show coming up on October 11-12 in Richfield (Cleveland), Ohio. We have collected feedback from people after the inaugural show and are working on related improvements.

I Didn't see Murbach Saturday but I did see his buddy Tom Leo Saturday, I assumed those 2 rode together both being from New York? LEON.

P.S. I did see your buddy Rustmonger Dave Babel there once before about 20 years ago back when the show was held in the outdoor park.

Yes Monger made a couple trips back in 97 time frame , I would give him $20 to rummage up some decent dollar cans for me as I had just got back into hobby . He would drive in with the Slime Brothers
