The show is off to a great start. Here is a great can that will soon have a new home in New York. John dumped this years ago near Ralph, Michigan (UP). Look closely at the can.

Good to see John made one of the early show pictures!
Tell him the Gun wishes he could be there. We have been to and through Ralph digging more times than I can remember. There's been some nice finds there over the years......

I'll bet he brought some friends too. We always used to get a group of NY guys at Frankenmuth, and that's part of the reason the show has always been so good. Driving through Canada shaves a lot of miles off the trip too.

I'm sitting at a rest stop right now a bit west of Lansing. Super ugly outside right now so I'm going to stay here until it blows past. I got some good stuff at the show so I need to make sure I get home safely.

Here's my take. not much, a can, 2 bottles & a Mug. Upgraded my rare Stroh's zip top 1 face can. Chris Taylor gave me this can after I did some can repairs for him. Thanks Chris.

My SummerSwap take.
Starting at bottom left, three Labatt Blue Light cans to complete previously started sets. Next is a 1962 Flat Top Old Milwaukee from Milwaukee. And lastly is a Topper Draft Beer Pull Tab from Rochester, NY.

Next row up, again at the left is a 1960 Schlitz Flat Top with a Vanity lid from Milwaukee. Then comes a Regal Flat Top from Miami. The Tropical Ale is a Pull Tab by Associated (3 cities). And the last one in that row is a Sterling Flat Top with a Vanity Lid from Evansville, IN.

Those Vanity Lids:

The top row starts with the 7oz Coors can. That gives me five total, one flat and four pulls, all different! Next is an 11oz Becker’s by Becker Products of Ogden UT. The remaining two small cans are the Bud/Schlitz commemoratives issued by Reynolds Metals in 1979. Though identical, one has a bank lid while the other is a Pull Tab with Schlitz and Florida stamped in it. (these two are the Christmas gift that Bryan mentioned previously…very much appreciated. Thank you, Bryan)

Also picked up this tray.

Picked these up at Antique Store on way home. LEON.

I went around and looked at all the cans, but I mostly went just to hang out. I saw most of the usual suspects, though I missed Ed and Bob (though I did see Bob's cans. Ed Harker came in from Chicago, and that was cool because I hadn't seen him for a long time. I got to catch up with Dave Wheaton some too, and that's always a pleasure.
