Questions re: Frankenmuth, MI Show, July 2019

Post by OhioCanGuy »

All shows seem to take on their own vibe and persona. Personally, I've never been to this show and am considering making the drive this year. Before I commit the time and money, a little insight into the show would be great.

A few questions:

1. Would you say this is a small, medium or large show?

2. Would you say the walk-in traffic is light, medium or robust?
(The Buckeye show in Toledo has to be the gold standard for walk-ins)

3. What's the general makeup of the show? Can centric, advertising centric, mix of everything, etc.

I have no doubt its a great show in many respects, just wondering about the above. Thanks in advance for any info.

1. we have 90 indoor tables with just a few not sold as of today.

2. we have had 100-150 walkins the last 4 shows

it is a good mix of cans, old and new, and many breweriana items with many people having different brands.

we have people from new York, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Ontario signed up with many other on the usual list expected.

Clayton and his crew do a great job with both their shows. You won’t be disappointed.

Yes, Clayton and company always do a great job with their shows. The Frankenmuth shows of years back are legendary for the Rusty Bunch guys, but there's plenty for collectors of clean cans and breweriana as well.

Okay, I'm in. First show ever for me in Michigan. Guess it's an OH - MI thing.

Dan's picture link and Clayton's good info on the phone today got me all jacked up to check it out.

Special thanks to Clayton for squeezing me into a few tables as supply is getting very low.

Looking forward to it!!

Frankenmuth is a great place to bring the family to also, if you're so inclined.
