Trying to ID PB Brewery post card
A few years ago trade cash and cans for a beer post card collection from a fellow RB'er whose initials here are PB (but one word). Have completely struck out figuring out what this PB Brewery stands for... Anyone got a useful suggestion or ID? thanks, Andy

Re: Trying to ID PB Brewery post card
Sorry for the delay. Been writing up final report on a mastodon we dug at Wakulla Spring in January. Looks like it dates between 13,000 and 13,500 years ago- right when we know people were there too so pretty excited that there could be artifacts with it, fingers crossed on that.

Re: Trying to ID PB Brewery post card
Wow... nice shooting. I love this place.... Here is an image of the Washburn Brewery. Looks to be the same building taken from the other side- almost at the reversed angle. So Pure Beer was 1904 to 1914. This was on my list of three that I had considered (Peoples that became Metropolis and Bola Products from Ohio).... Thank you! Andy

Re: Trying to ID PB Brewery post card
You found the picture before I did. After closely exam the 1st photo and the Washburn photo. I don't think it the same one ??? The reason, for one is the color of the brick. It look like limestone brick in the Washburn brewing photo. There was a quarry that was going on in Washburn area long time ago, such as old bank ?? Other things I notice comparing 1st and Washburn photo is the size of the window ?? You were right they wasn't in business very long 10 years. So I don't know yet if they expanding the brewing in short period of time ?? It possible that the 1st photo is a early brewery before expanded ??So I have to do some research if Pure Beer Brewing ever expand the place ??

Re: Trying to ID PB Brewery post card
Appears there were two distinct construction phases. Brewery being the last. Apparently there is no writing or philatelic history on the address (back) side. To identify if the location is in America the stamp box will point this out.

Re: Trying to ID PB Brewery post card
Hi BD, unsent and unused someone who sold this put PB Brewery in pencil at the top on back. Stampbox is AZO 4 diamond corners, semi-divided back- POST CARD has hollow letters which I think is early but I'd have to check Playle's (spelling?) guide to be sure. definitely an American card but not much else back there to go on.
Are you into postcards too or just if related to breweriana stuff?
