My Wyandotte Strohs Show Take

#1

Post by MI-Cans »

Made it to the Stroh's Fire Brewed Chapter show today. It may not be the same caliber as Toledo or Frankenmuth, but the Chapter tries to have a good variety of stuff to look through. I can usually come home with something! Picked up my small cans from Leon.

First, I got these cardboard backed mirror signs by Stroh's Light for the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, TN.

Then I picked up an new 8oz Schlitz can and a Country Club 8oz flat sheet for the small can collection. I got one commemorative that was made into a drinking cup which I'd like to turn back into a can with a new lid. Then I got three foreign cans for my meager foreign collection. And finally, six new cans for the variety collection.

All in all, good time with good results.

I am glad at least you and Leon made it. It would have been nice to get over there but I had too much that needed to be done here.

By the way, I was at that World's Fair. It was a great experience. I am not sure if World's Fairs even exist anymore.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio
* SummerSwap, July 21 & 22, Frankenmuth Michigan

Nice cans! I like that show as well. I've found some great items down there, over the years.
