POST YOUR "VANITY" LIDS HERE.
Came across this page in the BMV from 1980. Very interesting summary of what I believe everyone refers to as Vanity lids. (Correct me if my thinking is wrong.)
Please read through it and if you have images of lids that are described, please post them here. (Only provide head-on shots of the lids, glare-free if possible. Don’t need to see the sides of the cans.)
Click to enlarge.
I found another article written by Lovegun. Added it here.
A while back there was a post where many of you contributed images of their “EASY OPEN” lids. I put them together in this post: https://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/vi ... 99#p380599
Eventually, they will all be put together in separate categories under one title in the Reference Section.
Whatever you provide, I will try to put together similar groups of images.

Edited to mention addition of Lovegun's article. 05-21-2019
Edited to change title specifying what are considered "Vanity" lids. 05-23-2019

Thanks, Rand.
Exactly what I was looking for. Got a handful off the Internet that I have to rotate and edit and I'll post them.

@bantam10
Thanks...Love that Big D!
@IRTP Phil
Yes, Bottom lids are still lids!
@Beamer
Mike, The Pearl is Easy Open and already in the other thread that I mentioned. But, thanks.
I think I may have to divide it all into specific categories.

Ted, because it has a Zip lid, It'll stay with this group. The Easy Open group is strictly for aluminum soft lids that required a church key. Thanks.

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
Mostly soda lids but some beer too. There’s probably more in my totes but these were the easiest to get.
Interested in all flat and Cone Soda and Water cans.

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
First, really appreciate all your responses and the time and effort posting images!
@willssoda
Thanks to you, I will make a separate category for soda cans. Most, I've figured out, but not these. A little assistance? (MI-Cans)
ALL GROUP IMAGES HAVE BEEN MOVED TO POST #41. THANK YOU!

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
Very cool topic. Here are a few from my collection. I started selling my cans with vanity lids a couple years ago, otherwise I’d have more to share.
Wisconsin collector plus anything else that's cool looking.

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
This is a 1935 Waldorf and apparently predates the Ohio state seal seen on Ohio tax lids from 1936 and later. I'd love to know of any other cans with this on the lid.

Dumped these Pabst Exports in Wyoming last year. Sorry I don't have a better image.

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
Thanks for the reminder, Jim. I have a different Pabst Export with that lid, and I also noticed that one of my long opener Pabst cans is different from the one Rand posted in that it has an alcohol statement. Hopefully someone can provide an Eigenbrot's with the text centered and printed more clearly.

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
Ed, I'd post better individual pics if I could find them &/or still have them. Most of those were real old pics that were saved on my computer. LEON.

Re: POST YOUR LIDS HERE.
I found a few more. Plus I was asked to individually post the group of six I posted earlier.
