2019 Patrick Henry Show - Kalamazoo

Is anyone going to the Patrick Henry show this year? It will be Saturday at Bell's in Kalamazoo. I plan to go briefly but I will not be there long because the weather looks good and I have a lot of tree work I need to do (dying Dutch Elms).

Hmm . . . maybe it will be just Bill and me at the show. Oh well, I'll snap some pictures and then get back to Grand Rapids in time for the morning rain to clear so I can get outside.

That doggone show is the same Saturday as my school's Commencement year in and year out. I had a lot of fun the year I made it.

I drove down to Kalamazoo today for the Patrick Henry show. The show started at 8:00 and I arrived at about 8:15. I was worried at first because only a handful of tables were filled and very few people were there. Over the next 1.5 hours that I was there, people did start to arrive though and ultimately, most of the tables were used. Here are the pictures I took.

This was my take. The Fox Deluxe was in similar condition to one I already had but the vanity lid was better on this one. The E & B was a slight upgrade. The Grand Rapids Silver Foam was in rough condition but I bought it because of the label. I bought another one recently on ebay that was full and in nice condition but was missing the label. I will display both together. Lastly, I got the great Sebewaing display piece from Stan. I could not be more happy. This item would normally be out of my price range but Stan was very kind and I appreciate his generosity.

The Sebewaing sign is awesome. I would have been all over that. Great find, good for you!

Couldn’t agree more on that Sebewaing sign! That was what caught my eye out of all the pics! Congrats on a great score!

Looks like you had a great time. Nice pick's! The show looked like fun as well. Our son graduated on the same day. Great photo's! Thanks Bryan.
