Are these worth this much?

#1

Post by Leon »

Seen these on ebay, was kinda shocked at the high winning bid, thought it was to much. Are these really worth that much? Am I missing something? I know that's a tougher Rheingold & ever body likes Peter Doelger but the rest are common $50 cans. LEON.

The Rheingold looks to be significantly better than this one that sold for $1500.

I threw a bid in @ $1,736 and was the high bidder for about a millisecond in the final 10 seconds.

IMHO, the high bidder was not at, but getting close to full retail for the lot. Didn't leave a lot left for risk equity.

Then again, Rheingold is a bit of a wild card as to value. Tough can, and as stated, this one looks very clean.

I've seen people on ebay pay over retail on large lots & then struggle to try & recoup there Money & maybe even loose Money. LEON.

It kind of looks like cans from the Kreuger's bock auction... age wise. Maybe the seller has more of each... This was really not a Dutch guy's auction... LOL
