Another Land of Lakes paintover reveal! How quick can you guess it?
I need to give credit to PBama (Paul) for telling me about the National Can - Land of Lakes paintovers. I never really payed attention to it, but I saw some of the awesome cans underneath. I was a little nervous to wreck a nice LoL can, but I definitely saw primer on the edge and what appeared to be red paint under a scratch. I took some Turtle Wax rubbing compound and a paper towel and started rubbing the paint off...at first all I saw was grey primer and I was starting to bum out. Then I saw bright white and a red ribbon. When I saw the ribbon, I decided to keep going...
You experts out there might know what it is from one pic....it took me a little longer to identify it....more to follow

Using Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound and just a paper towel...made some quick progress. I switched to cheese cloth and it was a little easier....

Re: Another Land of Lakes paintover reveal! How quick can you guess it?
Thanks for posting that book pic. I have not been able to find this can online. I did not rub to the "NEW" part of the can because I wanted to maintain the Land of Lakes image...hmm. The soda can may be worth more than the beer!
Here is the latest image. Cool stuff for sure. I showed the pics to my bowling buddies last night and they all thought it was really cool to "recycle" these old beer/soda cans!
Question: How much lead paint did I ingest when I licked my fingers while rubbing out this can??

Thank goodness. I was going to go with Bleeding Urethra beer but it is not in the book.
