Actually, been done before. Last series from Olde Frothingslosh. If you reverse the faces and stack them, they should present a "face" on top and a shirt with bow tie on the bottom.
Did some more searching and found that it came out in late 2012 or early 2013. There was a contest to design the can and it was won by Paige Sabedra. Her work is detailed on a AIGA website. Here's a link:

The can(s) were also the subject of an article in the BCCA magazine. Side note: Third color (green) was never produced and marketed. Maybe some prototypes will surface someday.

Not sure if this was the first one or not, but in 1999 in Japan Pepsi released this set.

Sweetwater Brewing in GA. has done this for 12 and 16 oz. cans. In 4 Sweetwater brands. Here are some pictures.

I thought about this and maybe this was the first one in 1976.
