Freeze your Can show

Each Super Bowl Sunday the Northstar chapter has an OUTDOOR show a few hours before the game. Thus the name.
Sundays show was fun, even warm-ish, as compared to other years! Though damp and wet, very foggy all day.
Others can chime in, but I am guessing 20 or so collectors showed up and had a good time in the parking lot of the Flat Earth brewing. Had some free brats and chips, some beverages, bought and sold a few items, then went home and dried out just in time for the game. Only in Minnesota will you find an outdoor show in the middle of winter, no matter what the weather. Big thanks to the Northstar chapter officers and board.
I was pleased to acquire a couple of good deals to bring home. The Krueger came from Pinbeer (long time-ago poster here). It is an indoor can with humidity issues. The Schmidt is an extremely clean fan tab.
I even sold a few cans as well, not always a given for me!

An outdoor show in Minnesota in the winter? I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this idea. I'm glad you all had a good time.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio
* SummerSwap, July 21 & 22, Frankenmuth Michigan

I think an outdoor show in Minnesota is a great idea. But I do hope that if you ever have it scheduled on a day with weather like you had last Wednesday through Friday or so, you strongly consider cancelling the "outdoor" part …
