BBBRRRRRR!!!
It is a little nippply here.
Went to bed last night, and the air temp. was -21 degrees.
It has warmed up slightly, (after noon), it is -20, with wwind ccchills of -30 to -50, (sssorry for the stutter there).
The banks, post office, gov't- city/state, restaurants, schools, university, etc, etc, are all closed.
I'm not complaining, but this is just ridiculous!
Enclosed is a pic of our digital thermometer.
SSStay wwwarm!!!
Neil
Ps. the high is supposed to warm up to -12 today.

Re: BBBRRRRRR!!!
Yes, not a nice day outside here either. I worked from home Monday, went in for a half day on Tuesday, I'm home today, and expect to be home Thursday. Friday, it looks like it will be better outside.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Re: BBBRRRRRR!!!
Josh,
Good for you. I wish I was there, sipping a cold one with you!!!
It's 3:30 pm, and I think we've hit our high for the day at -16. It's blowing like a son of a gun outside!
I feel sorry for Johnny Aho, probably a lot colder there!
Stay warm john.

Re: BBBRRRRRR!!!
Yeah, all this cold air isn't supposed to be here. Somewhere up north a polar bear is sweating bullets. Was 2018 the fifth, or only the fourth, consecutive record-breaking warmest global year on record? I'm starting to lose track. Gonna invest in seeds, bullets, and Canada.
So this post is about beer cans... my cold weather project is our shared home office. Got a wood slab desk built, 2 cabinets installed and topped, and tomorrow I'm nailing up shelves with some suspicious spacing that can double as quart shelves in a pinch.

Better to drive 950 miles and kick asz than go a thousand miles and get nothing.

Re: BBBRRRRRR!!!
It only got to 62 degrees here in Orlando today. I've had to wear a coat the last couple of days.
Always looking for West Virginia breweriana from Fesenmeier and Parkersburg.
12 oz. US flat tops.
Well I woke up this morning and got myself a beer,
The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

Re: BBBRRRRRR!!!
Someone tossed this in my front yard Wednesday night...
"Although the cans will be of no value after opened, their cost is expected to be small..." Iowa: June 22, 1935
Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?
