Howdy all. I recently purchased part of a collection of mini bottles from Bob Welch (a regular at Watsonville). These are not Salt & Pepper shakers, they all have solid caps on them. He sold me the ones that were duplicates of what he kept. Some of these were unexpected, such as 2 Dutch Lunch bottles, 1 produced by the St. Claire brewery of San Jose and 1 produced by the Aztec brewery of San Diego. I knew that Dutch Lunch was a store brand, but from what store was it made? Nobody I can think of would produce these souvenirs unless they were actually brewing, packing and selling it, at least that's what I think. It makes me wonder what breweries were making beer for specific vendors? The most popular and successful one I can think of is Brown Derby, made for Safeway supermarkets. Is there a list anywhere of cans that were produced for specific vendors, and how many breweries were solicited to brew them? Just curious, thanks!
