Vintage Brut Beer Sign Blueprint Salesman Sample

Post by keithker »

I happened to pick this up recently. I thought it was a very interesting piece. Blueprint is 20" high x 15" wide. I don't have an original final version so curious how close the end result was to the model...... @Longhorn Mike ?

Very cool. I do not see any breweriana associated with this brand on the Internet so I suspect this sign may never have been made.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana

I have seen a similar piece on eBay. It appears to be a design sample from Price Brothers. Lone Star did make a couple of Brut signs, a round plastic sign about a foot and a half in diameter, as well as a clear lucite block with the Brut logo printed on it, but they never made a sign like the design.

I can't find a photo of the block sign, but here is the round sign.
