My top addition in 2018 was this can, picked it up in January. Lilek 541, rated R-9/R-8. Every Mule Head long opener I've seen documented on dealer sites has been Lilek 540. Cans are very similar but with numerous differences.

One of my holy grail Miller cans....gold single label zip top test can with the soft cross on the back.
My eBay proxy was 3x the final bid.....I wanted it.

I don't have a pick of it, but right before Christmas I picked up a Goldenrod banner off of eBay. I am always amazed when something unknown (at least for me!) appears. So now I've got 2 bottles, the foam scraper, the factory tray, lit sign, all 8 of the comicaps plus the game board, and now a banner. Still need the can and a tap knob!

Here are my best 2018 acquisitions. Both came from Dan Morean's auctions. The baldy is a "Rand me Down" and the tip tray is from a long defunct brewery from my hometown of Middletown Ohio.

Sorry for the sideways view.

Looking forward to a prosperous 2019.

This is probably my best find of 2018, found about 50 yards from Scotts Golden Glow pit. We were all spread out detecting, I came across a surface cone, it was rusted, faded and dented but I could make out the label, an early Rainier Club lo pro. Excited I showed the guys, they were unimpressed by this turd of a can. So I went back to this spot and swung the detector and got a good signal, it wasn't a depression but a little mound. I dug into it and boy what a feeling seeing the bright shinny red of this can coming out of the ground. just awesome! I think this can is actually the first one I pulled out. Ended up pulling 21 more Rainier's and one black Acme out of that mound. Great Time!

It seems condition of cans really took a turn for the worst here in the East in last 3 to 5 yrs . The fact that it was the wettest yr on record here in Pa probably didn’t help. But there is still even Qrts out there that held up . Here’s my best finds in 2018 don’t know why my pics turn out that way. Click on pic it will straighten out Leon can u fix it ?
