Finally reached my goal of 400 OIs

#1

Post by keithker »

Not all are gems or grade 1+ but I was finally able to reach a personal goal of having 400 OIs in my collection. With the recent addition of a Goebel "Goebel" from Mike Boardman @Boardman I finally was able to achieve it. A big thanks goes out to @roy @Rand @chateaudebris Dave Reid @DaveNH Ed and Dan Scoglietti @Cap-Sealed @CMD RB friends and all the others in this great hobby that made it possible....

Favorites in the bunch remain the Neuweiler Bock Thanks @Mark Porambo the Manhattan Ale Thanks Dave Rusk and Utah Mark and the first real addition to my OIs the Pabst Bock as part of the 12 Pabst Bock cans I picked up in Quakertown Pa.

I'm not stopping at 400 so if you see something missing and happen to have one for sale........

I've got an extra example of the Horlucks' you are missing in my totes if interested. Probably a few others you could use as well. 500 is just around the corner...

The legend of the OI Whisperer lives on proudly among other collectors that have had an opportunity to shelf one or more of his cans from his hallow collection

@rand thanks for letting me add to my collection....next goal of 500 is well underway...and then Rand says...."oh you have a four panel Badger"....sadly I didn't but he threw it in the pot to sweeten the collection....94 more to go....Thanks Rand...look forward to thanking you in person sometime soon...

That's the Pat Pend version......the 2 patents other pending one before they took the mandatory off the right panel....is super super tough. The one I had eventually went to Rawley.

I would bet he's talking about the older one before they re-designed the can with those two dots above and below the OI panel.

You have a great collection, another fun aspect of it all is you have plenty of cans to upgrade...i always feel good when i upgrade something and get to put the old one in the can tote.
