Re: tough bud o/i
Not super super tough.....they turn up now and then. The condition is beautiful though! The one I had was the actual can pictured in the book which was in a bit worse condition than this one.....I figured it for about $150 when I went into the auction, and it brought about that. Not sure how much of that was rarity vs actual pictured can. That's what I know! :-)

Re: tough bud o/i
I have 28 different Bud OI's, including a few not listed in the book, but this is not one of them. Not one that you see much and it stands out from the others because of the patent information (not a "dots-around-the-bowtie-thingie" variation). Super nice condition too!
The $1000 is a nice one too, with the brewery info. for "Gettleman Div. Miller" in the brown band which blocks out the Gettelman Brewing Co. wording. Had to have been a short run right after Miller bought Gettelman to use up some old stock. I lucked into one about 15 years ago and don't think I've seen one since. Tough can!

Re: tough bud o/i
nice addition...seems like all the 1936 -1937 buds with no irtp are underated ...kinda get lost in the masses of the later variations...what is the official count of Budweiser o/I variations...mike

Re: tough bud o/i
They got the IRTP, It's just been moved from top right front to sides. I'm still looking for Budweiser #138.
