Regal with Sterling Brewers mandatory

#1

Post by Kotto »

I'm not familiar with this Regal flat top. The mandatory reads "Brewed and filled by Sterling Brewers, Inc., DBA Associated Brewing Company, Evansville, Indiana" Common but overlooked? Who else has one?

I have one and I don't think it's too difficult. I'm not sure if the Sterling version came out before or after the Drewry's version.

I don't have one, never heard of one, and it is not listed as a flat. I'd say get it photographed for the supplement if the lid looks legit.

The New Orleans slogan on Sterling can is odd I had a Associated version form 60s that had it think is same time frame as this one right after Drewrys.I agree check see if legit flat and then check Slogan on Sterling can.

My 2 cents for what it's not worth lol

Has look of mid 1960s Drewrys color and build most Sterling's are more like newer 3 city Associated see link.

If anyone has a blue 905 flat top with that mandatory information, Im in the market!!
Looking for Illinois, Missouri and Texas steinie bottles. Looking for US stubby bottles produced between 1936 - 1941. Looking for ACL beer bottles. looking for St Louis area cans and certain Chicago area flat top cans. Holy Grail bottles are Old Albuquerque stubby from Albuquerque, Wagner Beer steinie(1937) from Granite City, Ill. and Goldcrest 51 steinie, Schepps Stubby, White Rose Stubby both from Dallas

Just for timeline purposes I do not have the flat but have the tab version (U-tab) from Drewrys. I also have a later tab, with only Famous Premium Beer, that is Sterling DBA Associated.

Same here! I collect Sterling flat tops and would happily add the 905 and the Regal. Isn't there a 20 Grand Cream Ale as well???
