Just picked this can up, cann anyone tell me the year it was produced?
Kinda looks late 1960s by the seam⁰

Wow that late! I knew other countries moved past church keys a lot later but thats late!
I have seen my can as a pull tab as well.

It was made for a number of years from the 1960s until likely early 1970s. The dates for the cans are only estimates unless dates were written on the can or ads. Some cans were kept in flats until the early 70s- Long Life Tiger Bass etc.

Attached are pictures of the straight seam one I have. Like the ones pictured above, the differences are slight. This one only has contents to the left of the seam and only in in Fl. OZS. It does have a MBM canning symbol. When I place it next to later ones, the background color of the circular emblem with the Tiger and Palm Tree is very yellow.

Between 1963 and 1965 Singapore was in confederation with Malaysia and there is a version of the Tiger flat top that has a lid stamp indicating Tiger flats at least date back to that period. As mentioned, this can design was remarkably stable well into the 1970s. Many of the later ones have "FOR EXPORT" stamped on the bottom lid.
