The DGR list, and the USBC, list 8 I C cones.
Is that correct?
I thought I heard somewhere there are two white IRTP variations.

Re: Iron City Cone Variations
Not that I am aware of. Though I have documented 13 different variations. I do have images if anyone wants a visual of any of these.Jim Romine wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 3:46 pm The DGR list, and the USBC, list 8 I C cones.

Re: Iron City Cone Variations
Love that the DGR got mentioned as a source document! This is great stuff!
I hadn't realized that there was a Patents Applied For above and below Cap-Sealed on 169-30. Mine is a little rusty on the side but I believe it is the Above version. I'll have to watch more closely for the other.
I have the post-war 169-31. Oddly, there is no number next to the CCC but there is the number 22 under Continental Can Company.
I have the no plant number variation of 170-1, will have to watch out for 72 and 73.
I have 170-2, 3 and 5. Somehow I have missed 169-32 and 170-4.

Re: Iron City Cone Variations
Dan Morean has a WF high profile red cone in his sold section. It's rolled, but it sure is pretty!
