Wow, I just got these pics- this has to be rare in this condition. Not mine but the owner is open to offers.
Any information from MI specialists would be appreciated. Ziphippie

What do cardboard 6 pack holders typically go for? I paid $10 (shipped) for a Meister Brau Lite 6 packer. These Pfeiffer scene 6 packers are obviously much more rare as the cans are pretty tough to come by all by themselves. Are we talking $100 each? $200? There is not a good reference for cardboard 6 pack holders that I am aware of.

How would you price something like this, not like there is a 6 pack price guide or priced in breweriana book or like you could compare them to the last few you seen sell. only worth what some one is willing to pay I guess. LEON.

Totally agree with you Leon! That's kind of why I'm asking.... I personally don't put much value in them for me because they don't fit my collection. I'm asking the Michigan or Pfeiffer can/breweriana collectors because I'm sure these would look cool next to a nice display of scene cans.
If you saw these at a flea market, what price would need to be on the tag for you to bring them home? For me it would be $10 each......I'm not trying to insult the guy that has them.....that's just what they are worth to me.

If I collected Pfeiffer, and those are not common, I would pay probably up to $40 for them based on the condition those are in.

Not sure there is a great demand for them. How many collect can holders? I agree they would look nice with my set cans, and this will add some desirability to a Michigan collector. IMHO just doesn't make them worth a mint. I'd probably go $20 - $25 each for them.

Can holders are hard to display. I have 3 different can holders...Miller from the 60s ($15 w/6 full cans in it), Meister Brau Lite from the 70s ($10), and a Miller soft cross 8oz bottle pack ($0, free). I find myself constantly moving them around because they take up counter space and I don't have a wide shelf on the wall or a case.
Cans and signs are easy cuz they go on the wall. You can fold up a can holder to display flat but they don't look as cool.

BTW....I had to google what IMHO meant.......

yEAH But that is real misleading. That auction came with a Mint 1+ rare Malt Lager Cloud None. I'm sure someone would of bid $70 just to get the can with no six pack carton included. That be like selling one of the Pfeiffer 6 pack cartons on ebay with a mint 1+ Skier, Dark Sailboat or Musky/Pike can included & it getting $600 & saying wow, the six pack carton just sold for $600. it's not the carton it's the can. If I seen a Pfeiffer carton for sale in a Antique store I'd buy it for $10. If it said $20 I'd be hesitant. I don't really have much Interest in collecting these type of six packs even though I got some. LEON.

It say's make offer, I'd maybe offer $10.00. No insult intended.

P.S. It should have the Skier, Dark Sailboat & Pike/Musky can included for that price.

I would rather have my Heidelburg cone top case from the Valley Brewing Company in Flint Michigan... think I paid 20 bucks for it at the old Knights of Columbus show in Clawson....of coarse that was over 25 years ago.
Only example I’ve ever seen....For a limited time only..$1,199.99 and it’s yours.

I had a mint unused NOS Corklined Apache cap/crown. I was saving it for years when I figured I'd be buying Wally's Apache cone. That never Happened, So, I sold the mint Apache cap/crown to Rich Bickle who did buy Wally's Apache for like $25k. Truth is there is probably more mint Apache Cone tops then the caps/crowns. SO, Does this make the cap/crown worth more then the can because it is rarer? I don't think so, only got $100 for the cap/crown. More important then rarity is Demand. we all seen common $50 007 cans (and others) get $1,000.00 because of demand & desirability. LEON.

I saw this last week at the Westmont Strohs Show, it was $12.00 and full of empty cans.....
Though not the Soft Cross can, the aluminum Champaign gold cans. I thought about you Kurt, but it had sold before I pulled the trigger.
If I had the Pfeiffer carton I think I would cut out the two sides and frame them.
Soft Cross 12 pack
Soft Cross 12 pack

back to the original topic of this post, here's my Pfeiffer cans, I have dumped these on several occasions. Usually it's just one can and the condition is usually pretty bad. I got six in a single dump, that was originally found by oldindiapaleale on his road trip several years ago, up off of 77 near Grand Marais, MI. He turned captain John onto this dump, John dumped the Northern Pike can(among other cans). John told me about the dump, I went there with Nan Wick and Art Goetz and we dug the six "easy" ones, some were really rough and I wasn't going to keep them but Nan knew how tough they are and talked me into keeping them. I have since upgraded the two on the left. It was a nice little dump, dumped some pretty good cans out of there, even brought Leon and Longopener to this dump. I think there was more there, but you would have to tunnel under the road.
