Drank an old one tonight.
Was able to drink the complete bottle of the IPA but the Extra Fine was not going to happen. That one went down the drain.

Agreed...… I tried but I know it would have decided to come back out. I did try a good mouthful but after that it went down the drain. I know they are not cans but I have about 12 more to try this week.

Steve - you should have been around later when we drank an unlabeled Ballantine's Burton Ale at the beer tasting. For a 50+ year old beer it was not bad. Rich Pav took the crown home.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, time to focus on Christmas Beers.
To start off, I chilled 4 different Anchor Christmas bottles: 1994, 1995, 1998, and 2000.
All 4 tasted just fine. So that's 48 more ounces to add to my IGU31 (a 1%er) tally, which I started a few years ago with 8 Anchor Christmas magnums (yes 400+ ounces of this great product).
Enjoy your old beers, as we head toward Christmas.
